So Davina swears this is one of the best Thai restaurants in Sydney (that is also affordable)….
The only fault I could find with this place is that it took quite a while for us to be seated. Well, I guess this is normal when there is demand for good places. Such a line signalled to me that I just had to try it!
We probably got seated after 30 minutes.

So came the first dish: grilled lamb.
I thought it was tough and pretty tasteless to be honest. Pretty disappointed. Maybe it was just that day – who knew? I say that because Dav was going on about it before.

I do recommend the grilled squid though. It was perfection. It was chewy but you would be able to swallow it without having half on it in your mouth and half down your throat. You know when that happens?
The next dish is really really amazing and I have to INSIST that you get it the next time you are there.
Just ask for the dish that has cubes of pandan leaf omelette, prawns and watercress in it. So amazing. So amazing… I loved it…so much!! Everyone that had it did. The cubes of omelette soaked up the gravy and bursts into amazingness when you bite into it.
We also had two more dishes – the lemongrass snapper which is excellent and duck red curry which was good. For some reason, I lost interest in taking pictures so apologies for that.
The Lemongrass snapper was really interesting. It looked like shredded lemongrass was fried to a crisp and it topped a freshly deep fried. So good that I have to recommend it.
Tip: Have sticky rice but share it because it is heavy.

i still haven't tried this place but hope to one day soon. thanks for the recommendations. it's always good to have some idea of what to order
You would have to join the rest in the long queue then – unless, of course, if you go early! There is no picture but I recommend the lemongrass snapper too.
